dc.descriptionTechnology has been changing the daily way of life of people, transforming the way they live and the way they relate, which means that thousands of people in the world can connect with each other and talk with people from other countries. This has led to the modification of criminal actions, that is, it has revolutionized the method in which criminal gangs carry out their modus operandi. This has allowed criminals to implement digital tools such as the Internet to make criminal acts more efficient, in this case, digital human trafficking, which has become a reality at an international level, generating thousands of dollars for the perpetrator. This increase in turn reflects an alarming number of victims, most of whom are minors who, in order to meet their “partner”, are attracted by the perpetrator through the use of technology in order to be exploited.en-US
dc.descriptionLa tecnología ha ido cambiando la cotidianidad de los seres humanos, al transformar el modo de cómo viven y su forma de relacionarse, a causa de ello, miles de personas, a nivel global, puedan conectarse entre sí y hablar con gente de cualquier parte del mundo. Lo anterior ha llevado a la modificación del actuar criminal, es decir, que ha revolucionado el modus operandi de las bandas criminales. Asimismo, les ha permitido a los delincuentes implementar las herramientas digitales, como la internet, para eficientizar los actos delictivos. De tal manera, el caso que nos ocupa: la trata de personas digital, que se ha convertido en una realidad a nivel internacional, genera fuertes sumas de dinero para el victimario. Este incremento refleja, a su vez, una alarmante cifra de víctimas, en su mayoría menores de edad, quienes, con el objetivo de conocer a su “pareja”, se ven atraídos por el victimario mediante el uso de las tecnologías con el fin explotarlos.es-ES
